Montreal rapper, artist and hip-hop producer Vinny Rebel has been writing since the mid-’80s golden era. More than 5,000 CDs sold independently, and the founder of Trinity Records.
Biography
Vinny Rebel started writing in the mid-’80s, right as hip-hop was taking off. He has built his career his own way since: more than 5,000 CDs sold independently.
In 2003 he founded Trinity Records to keep control of his music and his rights. Now incorporated as Trinity Records Inc., the label is built on transparency and artists owning their IP.
Back in his own studio with a vocal booth, he’s rolling out a new run of releases, starting with the bilingual single “Found Myself” featuring Lakoche.
